I just finished the foxy liner online class and it’s the most thorough class I think I’ve ever taken. This is my 12th... PMU class. This is the best online class I’ve ever taken and it was better then the advanced eyeliner in person class I took elsewhere. The exercises at the beginning were so thorough. She goes over everything in real time. The video is great quality and you can see everything she does. She doesn’t skip or fast forward anything. It’s all real time and it’s the whole procedure. It took me about 15 hours or more to get through this class and I was kind of trying to rush through it. I could have easily spent more time if I practiced each exercise more. I've purchased a lot of PMU courses by various well known artists most of which have been very basic. With Kristi I've... completed the Ombre Powder brow and Foxy Liner. Kristi's 5-Star courses have a lot of information and a lot of practice to do, there is a student facebook group for support. I did not want to do my eyeliner course online but due to covid I was unable to do it any other way. I chose 5 Star Academy because I had already done the Ombre Powder brows course so I knew it would be an in-depth learning. Foxy liner turned out to be better than my first course, broken down into modules with a stack of information and a lot of paper and latex practice. I have completed another eyeliner course by another very well know artist and whilst her course was also a good one it didn't have anywhere near as much information. The lessons in the Foxy Liner course have changed my techniques for all of my tattoo work including eyebrows, lips and scars. Kristi fixed a previous eyebrow job done by a different permanent makeup artist that left me with pencil- thin,... unnatural-looking eyebrows. I trusted her to shape my eyebrows as she determined best for my facial features. She took over two hours shaping and defining my new eyebrows. As expected, the initial result was very bold, but within a few days, after the scabs flaked off, my eyebrows looked amazing. My daughter and daughter-in-law have remarked at how natural they look, with perfect arches. There are a couple light areas that I need to fill in for now, but this will be corrected at my follow-up appointment in a couple weeks. Kristy is an amazing artist & very professional. I was a little nervous about permanent makeup but she walked me... through each step and made me feel very comfortable! I think it's great that she is always looking to grow as an artist by attending conferences all over the country as well as Europe & Russia. Would I recommend her? Without a doubt, yes.
